Dear Karolin:
 
We all feel the same way. We make a little headway in one area, and some horror like this comes along.
 
The good side of the killing of the giraffe is that it was made know to the public which has stirred up public outcry, and from this outcry will most likely come more voices pushing forward to demand an end to all forms of animal exploitation.
 
We all just need to keep peacefully speaking out and telling the truth. It is making a positive difference.
 
And most importantly, we need to keep praying for each other to  keep up our strength and resolve.
