Finnegan the Squirrel

What a wonderful story. But I so hope Debby will not make the fatal mistake of releasing that squirrel back into the wild, as it will have NO chance of making it. The first dog it see's will look like a friend, or even a cat may not look to alarming, and it's short life will be over. Besides, it thinks the dogs are its family, so why not just raise it and enjoy the little guy and let him just be a house squirrel and enjoy the home that it has been blessed with.
