In Reference to: Remembering Buster Dawn
What a lovely moving story.
I am in the same boat this year after having our beloved dog Charity put to sleep. It will be hard; it will be our first Christmas without her in 16-years. No buying a Christmas stocking and sharing our Christmas dinner; no hanging around under the table for more scraps! No nose poking around as we open up our presents, and myself saying, "Ok, ill take you out, even if it's Christmas and it's freezing"!
I miss her so much. Only people who truly love animals can say it's like one of the family has died. We humans ask so much, they give us everything, and they ask for so little. I love and miss you old girl.
