In Reference to: The Sparrow That Fell
I work at a prison and recently a fellow officer knocked a sparrow nest down. I was upset when an inmate brought 3 naked little birdies to me. Another inmate, our 'vet' of the unit took the birds in.
It has been a week and I visited the birds today. they are thriving under her care. It is great to see someone who has been hurtful to society get a chance to be a nurturing mother to these baby birds. It helps the babies and I think God has sent them to help her learn how to be a loving contributor to the world, if only in this small way.
