Re: THEN SILENCE - 2 Apr 2006
Dear Frank and Mary,
How touched I am by your blog including my poem. And your kind words mean so very much to me. These poems belong to God, I just hold the pen so to share them is very emotional for me. Bless you. I had to take time to get my composure after seeing the blog to even write you. You are answering my prayers.
Perhaps these words will reach a heart. It is my greatest wish.
Did you know THEN SILENCE is the very FIRST poem I ever wrote?
I don't know where it came from, but I had to write it. I cried many tears writing this, it was very, very draining emotionally. I, not I, God, composed THEN SILENCE in August, and it took me this long to get the courage to send it to All Creatures. Even though I realize it is my calling to share these words, it's difficult to release something so intensely personal into the world. Thank you for creating such a loving place, where I can find the courage to offer my words. I feel comfortable in your web site, welcome, like I belong.
Even in cyber space your compassion and respect is tangible.
God Bless,
Tammy C. Smith
