Dear Daniel:
As we continue to read your book, we thought it might be a good idea to relate to you a brief outline of our own experiences:
1. We believe that there is a direct connection between the peacemaking children of God (Matthew 5:9 and Romans 8:18-23) and our restoring creation to the peaceable kingdom that Isaiah describes (11:5-9), and which we strongly believe is possible to achieve in our day and age.
2. Part of being those peacemakers is not eating any animal products, and living a vegan lifestyle. Since both humans and other animals were created as living souls, when we eat each other we seem to contaminate our own spiritual connect to the Holy Spirit and to other beings. At least we have found this to be true.
3. Vegans don't smell like carnivores, and as such we have been able to approach many wild animals without frightening them away. You can see some of our deer and fox photos on our web site.
Have you had any similar experiences?
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
