Our subjects cover: animals, religion (Christian, Jewish and others); diet and lifestyle (vegan and vegetarian); and other miscellaneous subjects.
They are not free range. They have a large house with about 4-5 square feet per hen. I cannot free range due to predators. I keep my hens until they die naturally. I have a separate house for those that are not laying as seriously as the rest of the flock.
I get so attached to all my birds I cry when one dies. Sorry, that is the way I was raised.
