Agreed. Fishing is not a sport any more than hunting or horse racing.
A sport involves the consent of relatively evenly matched participants who know the risks involved and CHOOSE to compete.
Luring your opponent to certain death by a process of trickery is not sporting.
Nobody ever won the Ashes by bumping off the opposition when they least expect it!
