Why do many vegetarians/vegans consider Christianity a problem?

- A Jewish Perspective -

As one of the animals in the movie Babe stated, "Christmas is carnage".  Unfortunately, from the perspective of animals at least, this seems to be true of many religious holidays, including Jewish holidays.  Christianity and religion in general have seldom spoken out about the abuses of animals  on factory farms and the many other negative impacts of animal-based diets.
