What can we as believing Christian vegetarians and vegans do to change the view that Christianity supports flesh eating?

- A Jewish Perspective -

I have written an article, "What Diet Does God Prefer for Humans?" (Please contact me if you would like an email copy.)  I believe that it would be very valuable if a similar article was written from a Christian perspective.   The essential message that has to be stressed, I believe, is that the realities related to the production and consumption of meat are contrary to Christian values of mercy, justice, sharing with hungry people, etc.
