Dear Michael:
If we refer back to some of your original comments about people, perhaps the problem rests with the differences in personalities between people. The vegan philosophy is one of doing no harm; one of being loving and compassionate to all living beings, both physically and emotionally, and sometimes we forget about the emotional aspect of doing no harm.
But, there is a narrow street here as well, because sometimes the only way to get through to someone is to shock them emotionally into opening up their mind to becoming more compassionate, and feeling for the victims of this world..
