Thanks a million for hosting the serious discussion of the provenance of Don't Quit. I will likely be linking your site.

I think it is very interesting to see the power this poem has to enter the subconscious memory of people all over, to surface as original words at a later time. It would, of course, be nice to know to whom to attribute it. And for the time being, your comments page is the next best thing for an attribution.
