In Reference to the Poem: DON’T QUIT
To whom it may concern:
Anybody who claims to have written this prior to July 1956 is wrong. I received a copy dated July 1956
from a friend after being assigned overseas by the Army. I never heard from her again but I still have her original letter.
It has come in handy over the years in hard times. Thanks Alice for sending it to me.
I wish I knew who wrote it. For years I hoped she may have written it, but now I know she did not.
