Our subjects cover: animals, religion (Christian, Jewish and others); diet and lifestyle (vegan and vegetarian); and other miscellaneous subjects.
But Ray, we don't know what God has in store for us to compensate for those sufferings (Romans 8:18), even the suffering of the creatures. We can't escape suffering. We are in a battle, so many of us in America seem to forget this. (Ephesians 6:12) There is a spiritual warfare going on and we are part of it. We have enemies, spiritual enemies in high places. Imagine how much suffering and evil would be in the world if God were to withdraw himself completely from it? I shudder to even think.
We have it too easy in America. People are suffering and dying daily for their faith, and we want to complain if we fall ill. If you want to see suffering, look at www.vom.org Believe me, I don't want suffering any more than anyone else, but looking at the way others are truly suffering all sorts of cruelty and evils for Christ's name sake, makes me ashamed to even think of complaining about anything that might befall me.
