Our subjects cover: animals, religion (Christian, Jewish and others); diet and lifestyle (vegan and vegetarian); and other miscellaneous subjects.
But Juli, our complacency and ease of life tends to drive us away from God. Most "Christians" don't have a real relationship with Him, they don't know His power or the peace of His presence.
Those people who are suffering for His sake are serious about their relationship with God, they KNOW Him and experience Him in a way we may never be able to because of our culture. Lets face it, most of us in America don't NEED God, except in emergencies. We do just fine without Him. I myself am guilty. Ease of life, freedom from suffering can be a curse.
Look at mainstream churches today, its pretty clear that most people are worshipping themselves and doing things that enhance their lives materially. Its pitiful.
