Horse Slaughter: The Demise of Gentle Giants

I received information in the mail today from Nancy Pelosi regarding horse slaughter.

"Nearly 100,000 American horses are being trucked to Canada and Mexico for slaughter this year.

And unfortunately, the national ban to protect horses from slaughter in the U.S. was not passed in Congress. In fact several states are in the process of reopening slaughter houses.

The brutal slaughter of America's horses has not ended.

The demand for horsemeat overseas has not lessened. And the "meat men" continue to cruelly subject innocent horses to agonizing torture.
