"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Paul teaches us that we're not to just sit back and do nothing. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. We should be pressing harder through diplomatic means. As an example France and Germany are against a war, and rightly so; thus, we should be pressuring them to greater efforts on the diplomatic front."

Hi all, Frank, An Impressive answer. Reassuring. Encouraging. A call to some action in the spirit of Jesus!

14 Stand firm therefore, HAVING GIRDED YOUR LOINS WITH TRUTH, and HAVING PUT ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS,

15 and having shod YOUR FEET WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE;

16 in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

17 And take THE HELMET OF SALVATION, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Everyday. On the news hour. Evil speaks to us imploring us to break the commandments and to kill our neighbours, innocent or not. Powerful 'Christian' leaders implore this!

On the American dollar it says "In God we trust."

$25-50 billion dollars of "In God we trust" is offered to Turkey for a place to kill neighbours from. And other neighbours are bribed into compliance with evil, through loans, bribes and $ agreements, too tempting for many politicians greedy for power to refuse..

Jesus booted these people out of the temple way back. Anyway. They all seem to be back. 1000 fold.

What God that we trust would do this? Incite evil.

Surely it is not the same God that Jesus referred to and the same God that inspired the commandments and inspired Christians to follow the Prince of Peace? And to be loving of his sister and brother and fellow human kind and other creatures.

The President's men seem to be rewriting God's law on behalf of the good peoples of America and the world. (One wonders about this type of democracy too!)

Should not President George W Bush be asked to explain his calling for genocide as a Christian?

(Sanity. Tendency to avoid extreme views.) Ummm!

Christian actions like this give Christianity a terrible name, Enough to send Muslims the wrong message about Christianity and lessen the chances of there ever being peace between the great peoples of Earth that God created and so loves.
