Why Animal "Abusers" Aren't Concerned with Offending Us

Well stated Frank!

We spoke a while ago.  Just wanted to write and say hello again.  I recently subscribed to CVA and have been lurking for a few weeks.

I'm starting to think part of my mission on Earth is to educate people about the feelings of animals and veg-diets.  It's like all of this information I have read and absorbed has to be shared.  I'm very committed to tolerance and don't want to be perceived as just another militant vegetarian.  I've recently started attending a Unity Center church here in Austin where I feel very comfortable.  I am feeling a call to maybe start a support group or something of the sort for like-minded members.   I'm not even sure that there are others like myself here, but the congregation is made up of a majority of women, so that's a plus I guess.  I got married in August and my wife is also a vegetarian and a lover of animals.  Her support makes me that much stronger as I'm sure you're aware of.

Any ideas on where to take this?
