Hello there,
I just got your yam recipe and I look forward to cooking a few tonight! While reading through the recipe, I noticed a Bible verse from Genesis at the bottom. I thought to myself how neat it was for you to post God's word and encourage people to recognize His providence in our human lives.
However, I also was puzzled by the statement that followed, "Let no animal suffer or die that we may live!". I was wondering how and why you take such an extreme stance on this issue and what your basis is. I do not mean to be antagonistic, but would like to see your biblical support for this claim and how this support accurately reflects the weight and credibility with which you state it.
