Dear Monica:
Thank you for writing.
Think about something:
Did God make a mistake when He created the heavens and the earth, and declared that humans and other animals should eat only plant foods?
Did God make a mistake when He created heaven with no suffering or death?
Was Jesus wrong when He taught us to pray for our Father's heavenly will to be done on earth as it is in heaven?
If the answers to these questions is 'no', then could the approval to eat flesh be a concession to sinful humans because of their hardness of heart, in he hopes of leading them back to the perfect peace of God's original intent?
