Thank you for your comments. We agree that debating Scripture is a never ending argument. This is why we base our primary message, and the one at the end of the Genesis 1:29-30 quote with a statement of compassion: "Let no animal suffer and die that we may live!"

It no longer becomes a valid "choice" when we cause another living being to suffer, particularly when it is for human pleasure.
