Actually, when we look at the creation and heavenly will of God, we see that there is no death, but humans disobeyed God and death came into the world.
The verses you cite are in reference to one of the concessions that God allowed because of the hardness of the human heart, in an attempt to limit the depravity and hopefully bring people back into His heavenly will, just as Jesus taught us to pray for in Matthew 6:10.
In reference to your comment about not overeating plant foods, we wonder why it is that most people who eat animal foods are overweight, while vegans are not. Who really is overeating?
