Dear Daisy:
Your frustration with the hardness of heart in the churches is universal, and we’ve been working for over 30 years to end it and try to find the havens we all desire.
Yes, we agree that they are following the ways of the devil and not the creation and heavenly will of God. And, we also agree that we’d be a lot further ahead if truly compassionate people would be more outspoken, and really said what is on their minds when others joyfully talk about the mindless cruelty that they are involved in. We need to be a beacon of light in the midst of their darkness.
One of the best ways to overcome the fear is to speak of your own heartfelt love for the animals, particularly the ones that are suffering, and how their pain and suffering makes you feel. If you do this in a soft and polite way, your voice will be heard, even if not listened to, but we will get through to some, and the more that begin to listen, the more havens of peace we will begin to see.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
