I have a question for you about something you said....You said that another word for people who have no empathy is "sociopath." Are we a nation of sociopaths?
I was under the impression that to be a sociopath was to be a deviant from society, and since most people think it perfectly ok to cause animal suffering, and we who have extended our compassion to include animals are the minority.....
But then I looked up sociopath in online dictionaries, and it's not someone who doesn't fit into society, it's someone who has little regard for the feelings of others.
I see.
