Genesis 8:20-22 - God's Curious Remark

Dear Amy:
Thank you for your comments.
We believe that God gave us and the angels a free will so that we would be
free to use our minds and not be like programmed robots. He was not being
mean to us. He just wanted His “children” to have the same things that any
earthly father would want for his own babies. So, we made the free will
choice to disobey God and His strictly plant food diet in favor of killing
animals and eating their flesh.
This brings us to the second part of you comment. Did God change His
creation intent to have a truly peaceful world with no suffering and death?
Did He change His heavenly will of having a world with no mourning, pain, or
death? We don’t believe He did, because Jesus tells us to be perfect as our
Father in heaven is perfect (Matthew 5:9), and Isaiah tells us we will once
again have a peaceable kingdom, when we return to God with a pure heart
(Isaiah 11:6-10).
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
