Please inform me which Biblical passages do you base upon when talking of veganism?

It does not seem to me there is enough proof in the Bible to support claims that one should go vegan.

Is not it a known fact that Jesus Christ ate meat himself?

Is the beginning of genesis enough to support one in his wish to go vegan?
