QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Our subjects cover: animals, religion (Christian, Jewish and others); diet
and lifestyle (vegan and vegetarian); and other miscellaneous subjects.
1) Thanks again to everyone for the continuing discussion about church and vegetarianism. Since this discussion started, I have made some headway in our church.
2) I would really like to read up on what caused some of the major social changes in the course of history. I'm sure that in the past few decades, the media has made a major impact. I wonder if anyone went veg as a result of the Chino, CA downer cruelty publicity and recent beef recall.
3) I love this group, but as I mentioned before, it is difficult to keep all the emails and sift back through them, so I DO HAVE A REQUEST:
Would you be interested in once more telling a little about yourself as you may have done when you first joined the group? If so, I would be more than happy to compose a list of us (perhaps on Microsoft Word) and email the document to everyone. I think it is just helpful sometimes to be reminded of how long people have been vegetarians, what caused them to eat that way, approximate ages, family members and/or friends who are or aren't vegetarians, religious and group affiliation, area and size of city where you are located, etc.
Thanks!
