Today vegan Pastor Frank explains the important life-changing transition of our captivity to our freedom. Captivity pulls us into excuses and false justifications just as attempts to keep flesh eaters in their bondage. “Oh I could never change”, “I could never live without bacon”, “I wouldn’t have done that if she hadn’t of done this or that”. One can come up with never ending false “reasons”. These are all just lies that we tell ourselves. We ARE responsible for our own behaviors and their impacts to others – be it person or creature. The good news is that God gives us a way out at any moment. We can become peacemakers internally and externally. It will be very hard work for some of us but He will guide us. We ARE children of a loving God who doesn’t want us humans or the creatures to be captives.
