For today’s video, Vegan Pastor Frank reflects on the importance of discerning the prompts we receive and learning to distinguish between our own desires and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. How do we know whether the voice guiding us is truly leading us toward God’s heavenly will? If we ground ourselves in Scripture and the teachings of Jesus, we can better recognize when we are being called toward compassion, peace, love, and a higher way of living. More often than not, a small voice is warning us when we are moving in the wrong direction, yet we choose to silence it in favor of what we want for ourselves. God does not conform to what we desire, but instead, we are called to grow closer to His will and become peacemaking children who reflect His heavenly will.
