Our “yes is to be yes” and our “no is to be no”. Doing something purposefully wrong up to the moment that you have to change, like gorging yourself on food or alcohol at Mardi Gras on the day before Lent begins, is not living in God’s heavenly will. We are to be living in God’s will every day! Lenten Fridays with fish are still causing the pain, suffering, and death of a fish – one of God’s creatures.
