Pastor Frank Answers Does God have Feminine Qualities Too?Dedicated to cruelty free living through a vegan lifestyle.
Today Vegan Pastor Frank gently explores a question many have carried close to their hearts: Does God have feminine qualities? With humility, he reminds us that while the Bible was written in a patriarchal context, the Divine is beyond human gender—neither male nor female. Just as angels are described without sex, and heaven is a realm beyond such distinctions, we too—made in God's image—are spiritual beings who temporarily inhabit earthly bodies shaped by sex and society.
Though masculine language dominates many scriptural translations, the presence of feminine imagery and qualities of God are woven throughout the Bible. These glimpses remind us that the essence of God transcends our limited understanding—God embodies both nurturing and strength, fierce protection and tender compassion.
After the video ended, Pastor Frank humbly laughed at himself for closing with the words “He is…” and “love Him,” knowing he had just spoken about God’s vastness beyond gender. But in that moment of self-awareness, there was something deeply human—our language often falls short when we speak of the Divine. Yet Pastor Frank’s sincerity and humility shine through, revealing a truth many of us know: we are always doing our best to express the inexpressible. God is far greater than any label we can use—God simply is.
