Vegan Pastor Frank answers the question, did God create plants with feelings? Plants do not possess a central nervous system, or receptors that conduct processes that respond to pain. Although they do react to stimuli, such as reacting to light and growing towards it, there are numerous instances where we see plants not reacting to what we could assume would cause them pain.
