"The percentage of Americans with diabetes has doubled
since 1988, with nearly one in 10 adults now diagnosed with the blood-sugar
disease, researchers report."
- HealthDay News, Monday, April 14, 2014
The April, 2014 issue of Diabetes Care includes a diabetes study in which
42 scientists from 29 different world medical schools, hospitals, and
universities reached the same conclusion: "Type 2
diabetes is caused by eating too much animal protein."
One major finding of the research scientists:
"Plant protein intake was not associated with type 2 diabetes."
(Milk is liquid meat. In 1970, the average American consumed 10 pounds of
cheese per year. In 2014, the average American will consume over 42 pounds
of cheese. Ten pounds of milk are needed to manufacture one pound of hard
cheese.)
Dr. Monique van Nielen from the Netherlands was the lead researcher
(Division of Human Nutrition, Wageningen University, Wageningen, the
Netherlands) was the lead researcher.
Doctors examined 28,557 human subjects, 12,403 of whom were diagnosed with
Type 2 diabetes. They found one major difference between the diabetics and
the controls.
Those having diabetes consumed in excess of 110 grams per day of animal
protein. Those not diagnosed with diabetes consumed less than 70 grams per
day of total protein. The World Health Organization recommends that adults
consume between 28 and 35 grams per day of protein.
Their conclusion:
In view of the rapidly increasing prevalence of type 2 diabetes, limiting iso-energetic diets high in dietary proteins, particularly from animal sources, should be considered.
The best cure for the diabetes epidemic is prevention. Notmilk and Notmeat are the curative therapies.
"If you find diseases before they've really emerged, you
can control them early on, before you get a major epidemic."
