As a Christian, I know biblical teaching. I was quite surprised to read of your constant claims that animals have souls. There is absolutely no biblical proof of this whatsoever. I am open-minded and would like very much to hear your position on this. Please reply.

Dear Marie:

Thank you for writing, but you are mistaken. The Bible does clearly say that animals have souls and spirits just as we humans do. The problem you are having is in the ways the Bible was translated into English. As an example, in Genesis 1 and 2 both animals and humans were created as living souls (Hebrew: neh-fesh khah-yaw). If you have access to a Hebrew-English transliterated Bible, you will be able to see this for yourself.
