Wow! I love all of your letters! I totally agree!

I live in a state where most of the people think animals can all find survival for themselves, etc. Washington State. I remember a case about ten years ago in California when a man was yelling at a woman in a car and he threw her poodle into traffic, killing it. He was given several years in prison!

What happened to those days? When I looked up convictions, the sentences were none existent! There were fines, but that was about it. I always used to wonder why so few people were going to Heaven. Now I know!

Please, if there is anything I can sign or write a letter for please let me know.

Treating animals like this is unforgivable.

Dear Rose:

Thank you very much for writing.

Animals deserve to have the legal rights not to be used, abused, or exploited by humans. As you pointed out our present welfare laws are not being properly enforced. So, we need to expose the truth to everyone we possibly can, and to encourage them to do the same.

Any time we see something about animal abuse* we need to write letters to the editor and to our elected representatives stating clearly and politely that �*(the abuse)� is why animals need the legal rights not to be subject to human exploitation.
