Letter from Alistair about our site and the hardness of heart among other Christians - 14 Feb 2008
Greetings!
I am so glad to have found your website.
I have, for many years, seen vegetarianism and compassion for animals as a part of my being a committed Christian. When I try to share this with other Christians, they suggest that I am some sort of crank or even a heretic (!) no doubt in order to protect their own consciences. Meat-eating for most Christians is the norm. Vegetarianism is off!
I look forward to reading more on your website, as it gets updated.
God bless you,
Alistair
Reply from Frank and Mary Hoffman
Dear Alistair:
Thank you very much for writing.
We hear from many people who have the same feelings and experiences with flesh eating Christians. The very act of raising and killing animals hardens the heart, and the same holds true for those who pay others to do the killing for them when they buy their products of cruelty.
We have over 45,000 documents on our web site and are adding new ones every day, and updating others.
We look forward to hearing from you again.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
