I've posted your 'link' to a message in my emails, and my FB and Twitter too. I think it's so sad that people cannot see the damage. You'd think we'd have evolved as a whole human race about common sense. Though, there are people like you and Mary and myself that do care about animals, nature etc, and respect it.
I'm a Christian and I know that God gave us animals to care for not treat. I believe it says that in the Christian Bible, not sure about the other cultures, but if we teach people about kindness, maybe they'll get it.

This fireworks issue has gone global. We also work with Jenny Moxham for Australia on this and other animal exploitation issues, and she has had several letters to the editor published in the papers about the fireworks problem.
The whole teaching of Jesus is about being the loving, compassionate, and peacemaking children of God that He called us to be.
