Letter from Jenny Moxham about Vegan Day - 1 Nov 2012

Consider lives on Vegan Day
LIFE is precious to all living beings and World Vegan Day, today, is a perfect time to reflect on this. Each year, for nothing but the taste of their flesh, eggs and milk, we humans mercilessly rob over 65 billion land animals plus trillions of aquatic animals, of their precious lives.
We also subject many of them to excruciatingly painful mutilations and lives of unbearable suffering inside cramped, gloomy factory farms.
Given that man is not a natural carnivore, we have absolutely no need to consume any animal products and no justification for treating our fellow sentient beings in such a heartless and cruel manner.
Why not make the switch to a healthy, humane vegan diet today? As a vegan of 33 years I can assure you you won’t regret it.
