Letter From Katy Concerning Pro-Life and Animal Rights - 10 Jan 2004
I am a 16 year old girl who is a vegetarian, and who wants to get involved with an Animal Rights Activists group. But I am also pro-life, and will not join any animal right group that is pro-choice.
I looked over your website, but still wasn't sure if it was pro-life or not, and I wanted to absolutely sure.
I am also very new at all of this Activists stuff, and don't know where to start. How do you join an Animals Rights group? Do you have to join one in your own town?
I hope you can help!
Katy

Dear Katy:
Thank you for your email and questions.
Yes, we are totally pro-life: We're against war. We're against capital punishment. We're against the raising and killing of animals for food, clothing, research, and entertainment. And to address your specific question, we're against the abortion of human babies.
You do not have to join an animal rights organization to be an animal rights activist. Joining a group is up to you. If you want to join, look on the internet and find a group your interested in, and check our their policies and goals.
The most important aspect of being a credible activist is to set the proper example, so that everything you say and do is above question. Always be loving and peaceful and completely honest in the ways that you distribute your information, whether verbally, in writing, or on the internet.
We hope this helps you get started.
We look forward to hearing from you again.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank
