(Growing a Pineapple from a Cutting - 09)  When the weather was warm, we took the pineapple plant out onto our porch deck. but the weight of the pineapple with it's large sprout of green leaves bent the stem down.  The green top on the baby pineapple is almost as large as the parent plant, and much more robust.
