An Animal Rights Poem from

Cursed by Compassion by Paul Seymour
Facebook posting February 2023

How I envy
All you people
Who donít feel the pain
That I do

Cursed by compassion
All my life

I hear the laughter
Of the guilty
I see the revelry
Of murder

Canít they feel
The evil butcherís knife

I see the children
Eating corpses
Wrapped in red and
Yellow paper

Can they not taste
The screams of pain?

Babies taken
From their motherís
Hung up by their legs
And tortured

A hundred million
Times a day

The only reason
Is your choices
Only you can
Stop the carnage

In the name of Love
Please change your ways
