Darkness, all around me

Darkness, all around me
In the eyes of those that feed me
My commodification viewed indifferently
Those that work here lack empathy
Those that demand my flesh, empty
You ignore proof of my sentiency
To continue to dine on parts of me
Drink the milk meant for my baby
Oh, humanity
Question your sanity
Pregnancy after pregnancy
All my babies stolen from me
If I behave rebelliously
I am treated savagely
My short life, I lived dreadfully
Still, I fight for my life desperately
I struggle on the kill floor helplessly
The floor is red, slick, bloody
My hooves on others crimson, slippery
Fated to be an ingredient in your recipe
To be born non human is a death penalty
Oppression all around me
Total Liberation
