Animal Rights, Spiritual and Inspirational poetry that touch the heart and soul, and provoke the mind.
A thousand blackbirds
descend
at once,
Every tree
laden
with ornaments of jet;
Cacophony
jars and grinds
your nerves,
Rampant chaos
it seems,
and yet ―
Somehow
through all the din
a signal is sent
And then,
as one
they all lift up
And swoop away
together
in perfect choreography
As if guided
by an awesome unseen hand.
