Day Of Sorrow
Poetry By Anthony James

i find it kind of funny
i see it inside out
i've gone across
and come back

it's not funny, though
but it is perplexing
the doors are planes like waves

not a place for the face
of flesh or home
to bone.

and back here
i see a fellow
like me, no, wait
it is me!

uninvited...
unrequited...
i can not have any thing here
because i am not of here
nor the things, herein

they are sour to all of me
the things,
the whole of it all
to be a man...
a fight
i'm a sight
what a plight

but i know that this my death
and that i have Life...
I have Christ.

uninvited...
unrequited...
i can not have any thing here
because i am not of here
nor the things, herein

i came back from
the plane, the wavy door
A Comet,
rounding the Sun...
Dying in a Fiery  Surrender

in momentum
i glide among the stars
towards the earth again
landing then
from whence i came

to open eyes
a heart, restart
and clenched little fists

weeping.
for there is much sorrow
in God's Heart...
And much loss, therein
does He hold.

we were weak from the start...
and them who proclaim strength
of their own flesh, are strong of death.

I see the Lord
From a distance
A High Throne
A Crown of Many Wonders
Does He Wear.

His Countenance, Sincere
To the utmost
The Terrible Day
Had come.

A Day of Sorrow.
