Poetry and Music By Andrew Pell
What would I say to you dear friend today?
Peace and happiness to you I would cheerfully say.
What would I say to you, a year from tomorrow.
I hope in your life you would not experience any sorrow.
What would I have said to you 21 years ago?
I would have gently put my arm around you and whispered softly, I love you
so.
What would I say to you through the journey of time?
Dear friend for you, there would always be time.
What would I say to you at the end of life’s journey?
Thankyou for enriching my life, and being a friend to me.
