I look in the face of brown
And I see God there
He is in the smile of children
And in the face so fair...

He is in the face of the poor
He lives in the eyes of the ill
He beats in the heart of the wild
He dwells in the valley, hill...

God lives in the prisoner
No matter what his crime...
We should not judge nor execute
But let him do his time..

I see God in those who hate
I see God in Catholic, Jew
He lives in church and synagogue
He is in the old, the new...

A peacock's feathers beautiful
The meadows mist and haze..
The deep and rolling oceans
The noon sun's blinding blaze..

God lives in the Breath of Life
He lives in each heart's beat
He's the magic of swift deer
And the joy of bird's song sweet!

Please, look beneath the rock!
For these Brothers are His least
So be careful how you treat them
His peoples, earth, and beast...

God, Holy Light of Life
Connects us one and all...
Bow your head and pray to God
And shout Love to mountains tall...
