Hell, O'Hell
Poetry By Anthony James

little time,
like a wave, each generation
a splash is all
or, a breath.
take away my sins, o' savior
and I shall live-
world, o' world
take me in,
and i shall die with you
hell, o'hell
who are you?
are there many who know,
or 'few'?
saved, once enslaved
shown the hell o'hell
knowing the hell o'hell
the final grave,
was told.
taking your soul,
it's time you know-
it's not yours, you know
lest you let it go
did you let it go?
can you let it go?
as the Words flow,
from God's lips-
like a river of life//
let it go, let it go
o'world, o'world
your death toll

here comes the Fire
it is over you, dear friend
but not I, this time
for my Fire did come
I was taken, though
from it-
but you, the Fire is tight to
a roaring flame, never ceasing
is taking your name-
and I see you friend
being removed,
completely
I say 'goodbye'
heartily heard through my deepest cry-
there is no joy,
in my own 'Life'
though, I will Live
and you will die-
and you burned, and moaned
'why o'why'
did you not tell me of
Jesus
The Christ
but I did and I did, seeing your shame
I wept again, as your breath naught wane
and you're moving and losing
your short-lived name
and your, still, now completely,
frozen in flame-
a smile on your face
the face of no name-
I want to turn from it all
but it's to be seen
like a mannequin, you stand
in the flames of God's Word
and the heaven's rejoice
of the Faithfulness of God
and Eternal Souls know their Lord
and nothing of the earth
ever comes to mind
and Eternity is introduced
to the Children of God-
The good seeds of the Harvest
receive their True name.
hell o'hell
thy flame, never quelled
hell o'hell
thy Fire kills Souls
"it's not true, they all said"
in one way, or another
Amen.
