Spiritual and Inspirational poetry that touch the heart and soul, and provoke the mind.
Horse racing looks interesting to see,
But at what cost,
The horses racing are under tremendous pressure and pain.
They probably have very little leisure.
The difference between animal cruelty and sport is a very fine measure.
Big dollars are placed on a race.
Millions of Dollars change hands in a single race.
The owners hope they may get a place,
The crowds are screaming with a distorted face.
If they don’t win one day they will be put down.
The crowds cheer and the crowds roar.
They clamour for more.
The people walk away rich or poor.
Horse racing is very demanding on the horses that run.
I don’t imagine they would be having much fun.
Open your eyes and tell me what you see.
If they could talk you bet they would like to roam free.
