Spiritual and Inspirational poetry that touch the heart and soul, and provoke the mind.
Winter months of cold ahead
Lay in the leafless wood
Skeins of geese ribbon skies
Heading north as they should
Icy ponds and frozen streams
Edging meadows brown
And when the snow is falling deep
In the wood there is no sound...
Holly berries red and bright
The fur and pine so green
Sleigh bells ring through the night
And winter winds blow mean...
Large pale moon shines silver
Down on fields where corn did grow
And down upon the roof tops
Of homes where fires glow...
And in the silver moonbeams
Russet-red fox does dance
And high upon the hillsides
The sleek brown deer prance...
Chilly morns and mittens warm
And chocolate to drink
Christmas joys for girls and boys
In cozy beds they sink...
Dear ones dream of Christmas Day
Not just of treasures bright
But love among all living things
By spreading Jesus' Light...
To give the poor, the prisoner
The accepting warm embrace
To feed and love all forms of life
Share forgiveness in God's Grace....
Merry Christmas one and all
Open hearts to song
That joy we know on Christmas Day
Will be Peace all year long....
