All of God's creatures have rights, a fact that most people don't seem to recognize. This includes both human and non-human animals, but not all of them can speak for themselves.
Peace On Earth?

At Christmas time folk celebrate
The Prince of Peace’s birth,
By sending others cards that call
For peace and love on Earth.
So isn’t it incongruous
That having sent these wishes,
They kill Earths’ peaceful animals
And serve them up in dishes!
